Rooibaard is proud of his Afrikaans heritage, but he knows and believes that there is a hopeful place under our beautiful South African sun for every race, language, and culture. He understands that everyone’s background is not the same, but like everyone, he has hope for a shared future—full of promise and standing together as a united nation.

Like every South African, he enjoys a good braai and delicious food. Rooibaard understands that life isn’t just about food; eating together and breaking bread is a deeper connection—soul food that we all need.
