Refund policy

Our goal is for you to be completely satisfied with your Rooibaard purchase. If for any reason you are not, we are here to help. This policy is in accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA).

7-Day Cooling-Off Period

In accordance with ECTA, you have a 7-day “cooling-off period” after receiving your order. If you change your mind, you may return unopened and unused products for a full refund.

  • The return process must be initiated within 7 days of delivery.

  • Products must be in their original, unopened packaging.

  • You will be responsible for the return shipping costs.

Damaged or Incorrect Products

If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery.

We will arrange for a replacement, exchange, or full refund, including any shipping costs. We may request photos of the damaged or incorrect item to process your request.

Exceptions

Please note that, for health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened food products, unless they are defective.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

To initiate a return or exchange, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us by email at info@rooibaardprodukte.co.za with your order number and the reason for the return.

  2. We will provide instructions on how to return the product.

  3. Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s), we will process your refund or exchange.

Refunds

Refunds will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days after we receive the returned product.

Although we may offer store credit, you have the right to request a cash refund.
